A problem reported by scanning a QR code

The employee reports without an account, the right provider is notified, and the request is only closed once the requester has confirmed it.

What changes, in practice.

Today, without Task FM

The projector in the Mercury meeting room won't turn on, ten minutes before a steering committee. The employee emails you, follows up on Teams, then walks over to your desk. You retype the request for the provider, without the photo, and nobody will know afterwards whether it was fixed.

With Task FM

  • No more retyping: location, category and photo reach the provider complete.
  • A request is only closed once the person who made it confirms it's fixed.
  • A PDF report with average resolution times, satisfaction and per-provider statistics, ready for your steering committee.
  1. 1

    Scan the room's QR code

With no account and no app, the employee scans the QR code posted in the room. The location is pre-filled, only the categories relevant to that room are offered, and they attach a photo.

  2. 2

    The provider is notified

Each category is linked to its providers. The one for that category gets an email with the photo and a direct link to the request.

  3. 3

    Handling tracked on the Kanban

The provider updates the status and comments in their portal. You follow every request on the Kanban board, including from your phone.

  4. 4

    The requester confirms and rates

When the provider marks the request as done, the requester gets an email: they confirm in one click or reply "Not finished", which notifies the provider again. They then rate the work from 1 to 5.
