Every piece is tagged and located: the move is prepared by scanning, and whatever is missing afterwards is flagged with the date it disappeared.
Today, without Task FM
A floor is about to move. The furniture file is three years old: nobody knows what is actually in each room, or how many workstations need to be moved. After the move, chairs have wandered, pedestals have vanished, and the spreadsheet doesn't say so.
With Task FM
You enter a model once (type, dimensions, price, invoice, photo), then apply it to 20 chairs by scanning 20 labels. A QR code that is already in use is rejected: no duplicates.
Room by room, you scan what is there with your smartphone. A room takes a few minutes, and any piece that was expected but not scanned becomes "not located since…".
Site, building, floor, room: each movement is timestamped and the current position stays up to date. Unlocated pieces can be reassigned to a room in one gesture.
You redo the inventory of the destination rooms. Whatever is missing shows up with how long it has been gone, and the Excel-compatible CSV gives location, price and invoice number.
The site pastes the item's link: the Task FM team quotes, buys, delivers and attaches every document to the order.
