Use case · Onboarding / Offboarding

Joiners and leavers that no longer rely on memory

Template checklists, ticked step by step with the author's name and the date, and a complete history.

Involves
  • Facility manager
  • Executive team

What changes, in practice.

Today, without Task FM

On Monday a new employee starts: the desk, the access, the equipment, the badge, it all happens in emails and in the heads of two people. On the day someone leaves, a step is missing, and nobody can say what was done for the last person who left.

With Task FM

  • The same journey for every joiner and every leaver, whoever handles it.
  • A reliable history for each employee: arrival, checklists, ticked steps, departure, return.
  • Fewer oversights: every step is ticked, dated and signed, so nobody has to wonder whether it was done.
  1. 1

    Model your journeys

You write your checklist templates once, for example "Standard onboarding" and "Full offboarding", with ordered steps. You duplicate them to adapt to a department or a site.

  2. 2

    Assign at creation

When you add the employee, you immediately choose the checklists that apply to them, a general template and a specific one if needed.

  3. 3

    Tick step by step

Each ticked box shows "Ticked by… on…". You know who did what, and when.

  4. 4

Mark the departure, keep the proof

You mark the departure, and reactivate the employee if they return, for example a fixed-term contract or an apprentice, without losing their history. Every action is recorded with its date and author.
